Through our many years of "hands-on" experience in facility planning and design we have developed a practical methodology to program, plan and design new facilities, or facility renovations for our clients. This will typically involve some or all of the following steps:
  • Analyze existing operations and facilities
  • Collect and analyze all relevant data
  • Determine operational requirements and planned production or service goals
  • Perform lean process review
  • Consider alternate methods, technologies, equipment, systems, and staffing
  • Prepare facility program
  • Prepare economic analyses of options with costs and benefits
  • Prepare operational layout and building design drawings
  • Prepare specifications for new facilities, equipment and systems
  • Obtain quotes and coordinate procurement and installations
  • Manage projects and inspect construction and installations
  • Plan and coordinate moving and start-up
  • Follow up to ensure a successful operation
