Approach
Through our many years of "hands-on" experience in logistics we
have developed a practical methodology for the analysis of and planning
for our client's enterprises. This will typically involve some or all of
the following steps:
- Analyze existing logistics systems
- Collect and analyze all relevant data
- Determine operational requirements and planned production or service
goals
- Consider alternate methods, technologies, equipment, systems, and
staffing
- Prepare economic analyses of options with costs and benefits
- Prepare operational layout drawings
- Prepare specifications for new equipment and systems
- Obtain quotes and coordinate procurement and installations
- Manage projects and inspect construction and installations
- Prepare data system and document requirements
- Prepare written operating procedures
- Plan and coordinate moving and start-up
- Follow up to ensure a successful operation
